Disponibile un nuovo live tra i bootleg ufficiali di Springsteen

Per il consueto appuntamento con i suoi Bootleg Ufficiali, Bruce Springsteen ha questa volta reso disponibile un nuovo album dal vivo.

Si tratta del concerto al Madison Square Garden che il Boss ha tenuto il 23 maggio 1988, terzo show del tour a supporto di “Tunnel of Love” ottavo album in studio del rocker, pubblicato nell’ottobre dell’87. Il concerto è stato l’ultimo show negli Stati Uniti prima del tour europeo che fece tappa anche in Italia e presenta una scaletta con 8 cover tra cui “Boom boom boom” di John Lee Hooker, “Vigilante Man” di Woody Guthrie e “Lonely Teardrops” di Jackie Wilson. Tra le altre, brani di Edwin Starr, Richard Berry, Arthur Conley ed Eddie Floyd, artisti che negli anni hanno influenzato la musica di Springsteen. Nella tracklist c’è anche “For Your Love”, una cover di Ed Townsend che il Boss suonò solo durante il soundcheck.
