Prince: in arrivo la ristampa “Super-Deluxe” di 1999

Il 29 novembre uscirà la ristampa rimasterizzata di 1999, quinto album di Prince, in una versione “Super-Deluxe” che conterrà numerosi inediti

1999 è ricordato come il primo album in studio di Prince and The Revolution e come quinto album della carriera di Prince, viene pubblicato dalla Warner Bros Records il 27 ottobre 1982 e contiene hit del calibro di 1999 e Little Red Corvette.

Il 29 novembre prossimo 1999 uscirà come ristampa rimasterizzata in cinque versioni differenti, ovvero:
–CD singolo,
-Due LP,
–“Deluxe Edition” in due CD o quattro LP
–“Super-Deluxe” contenente cinque CD e un DVD (o 10 LP e un DVD) con 35 tracce audio inedite, un album dal vivo di un late-night concert tenuto a Detroit il 30 novembre 1982 che mostra il video di un concerto al Summit di Houston del 29 dicembre 1982. Come se non bastasse, all’interno si trovano anche note di copertina di David Fricke di Rolling Stone, del bassista dei Guns N ‘Roses Duff McKagan, del conduttore radiofonico Andrea Swensson e della studiosa di Prince Duane Tudahl, oltre al booklet contenente testi scritti a mano da Prince per Little Red Corvette e altre canzoni di quel periodo, rare foto di Allen Beaulieu e immagini dei rulli analogici su cui l’artista ha registrato.
