Sono state annunciate durante la Kiss Cruise (crociera a bordo della Norwegian Pearl dedicata alla band partita il 30 ottobre e conclusasi oggi, lunedì il 4 novembre) le 75 date dell’End of the road tour che vedrà la band statunitense esibirsi per l’ultima volta da febbraio a ottobre 2020.
Sono comparse man mano sui profili Twitter di Three Sides Of The Coin KISS Podcast le foto fatte agli schermi delle Tv disposte per tutta la nave, sui quali sono comparse le date relative a ogni continente. In quella relativa all’Europa possiamo notare una data anche in Italia: il 13 luglio 2020 all’Arena di Verona. Proprio a luglio di quest’anno, i fan italiani della band avevano potuto assistere a un live dei Kiss durante il Milano Summer Festival.

Già nel 2000 la band aveva annunciato un altro tour d’addio: 142 date in giro per il mondo per salutare i fan per l’ultima volta. Invece, due anni dopo avevano deciso di ritornare sulla scene. Questa volta, però, sembra che i Kiss facciano sul serio, ecco le loro dichiarazioni:
Dobbiamo tutto quello che abbiamo conquistato nel corso degli ultimi quattro decenni alle milioni di persone che hanno riempito club, arene e stadi di tutto il mondo. Questa sarà l’ultima celebrazione per tutti coloro che ci hanno già visto e l’ultima occasione per quelli che non lo hanno ancora fatto. Stiamo per salutarvi con il nostro tour d’addio e il più grande show di tutti i tempi. Ce ne andiamo esattamente come siamo arrivati: impazienti e inarrestabili.
