“The Swan Song Years 1974-1982”: in uscita un nuovo boxset per i Bad Company

Sarà pubblicato il 2 agosto e conterrà tutti i grandi successi della band britannica

I Bad Company, esponenti dell’hard rock britannico, festeggiano quest’anno i 45 anni del loro sodalizio. Quale modo migliore se non quello di regalarsi e regalare a tutti i loro fan una nuova edizione dei loro migliori successi? Si intitolerà “The Swan Song Years 1974-1982” il nuovo boxset di sei CD, che sarà pubblicato il prossimo 2 agosto dall’etichetta Rhino e conterrà le versione rimasterizzate dai nastri originali di sei dischi della band: “Bad Company”, “Straight Shooter”, “Run with the Pack”, “Burnin’ Sky”, “Desolation Angels” e “Rough Diamonds”.

Il gruppo che nel lontano 1973 venne formato dal cantante Paul Rodgers insieme al chitarrista Mick Ralphs, a cui si aggiunsero poi il batterista Simon Kirke e il bassista Boz Burrell, debuttò con l’album “Bad Company”, che venne registrato nel 1973 presso la Headley Grange, un’abitazione rurale che vide al lavoro anche i Led Zeppelin e i Genesis; il disco raggiunse la terza posizione nella Official Albums Chart inglese e la vetta della classifica Billboard 200, con successi come “Can not Get Enough” e “Movin’ On”.

Altrettanta popolarità ebbe anche il successivo album del 1975 “Straight Shooter”, in cui fu inserito il brano “Feel Like Makin’ Love” che ottenne una nomination per i Grammy Awards.
