David Bowie: scopri tutti i segreti del nuovo box “Conversation Piece”!

Il 14 novembre ricorreva il cinquantesimo anniversario dell’uscita di “Space Oddity”: per l’occasione la Parlophone ha pubblicato un cofanetto di 5 CD!

Il nuovo box si intitola “Conversation Piece” e raccoglie tutto il materiale del periodo 1968-69, edito e inedito. I contenuti alternano demo casalinghe,  session alla BBC, una edizione remixata di SPACE ODDITY, le registrazioni in studio con John “Hutch” Hutchinson, e molto altro.

Il box contiene tutti i brani inclusi nei cofanetti in vinile pubblicati quest’anno (Spying Through A Keyhole, Clareville Grove Demos e i ‘Mercury’ Demos) ma anche altri dodici brani inediti in versione demo. 

La versione rimixata di SPACE ODDITY contiene anche “Conversation Piece” nella sua posizione che era sta prevista prima che venisse eliminata a causa dei vincoli di durata del vinile (e diventare il lato b del singolo Space Oddity). Questa nuova versione dell’album sarà anche pubblicata singolarmente in CD, vinile e versione digitale.

Accompagna il cofanetto un volume di oltre 120 pagine con memorabilia di Ken Pitt (manager dell’epoca) e fotografie dell’archivio David Bowie.
